It started with Gene's Mother's recipe, which was used to open his pasty shop in Quinnesec, MI. The Pasty Oven pastys(R) popularity grew so rapidly a decision was made to build a USDA plant which opened in 2000. We can now be found in grocery stores, delis, food service providers and super centers throughout the Upper Midwest. To keep pastys(R) alive in this mining/lumber country as part of the heritage and tradition has been very rewarding! Gene truly thanks his customers and his fantastic employees for making his dream come true! 😃
